    FLY.F.R Approach Plate Service - Available Soon

      Penguin Air will offer a CD based version of the approach plates for the entire continental US. Data will be available either for US East, US West, or both CDs for the entire US. The approach plates are viewed using an html indexed service of PDF images that are read with the Adobe Acrobat Reader which allows use on most platforms. Click here for a sample of the approach plate service as we finalize the features.

      IFR Pilots: Navigation valid CDs will be available either as a single copy or as an annual subscription (6 copies).

      Flight Sim Enthusiasts: Discounted price data sets, which will not be valid for navigation, will be available. These data sets will be complete but will only be updated once per year.

      As you know, Approach Plates are updated every eight weeks with a Change Notice at the halfway point. To make this data available without the need for sending out additional CDs, we will post any added or modified approach plates for download pending the regularly scheduled release of the next CD. Approach plate modifications will be removed from the web page with the release of each updated data set.

      We will send out email notification of which approach plates have been added to the web when a Change Notice is released.
