The December 25, 2003 data set is now shipping. This data will not be valid for navigation after February 19, 2004.

Due to upcoming changes in the FAA file formats and a desire to create a newer, more feature filled version of the program, the Penguin Air Electronic AFD will not be updated for navigation purposes following the December 25, 2003 version. We hope to make the new version available as quickly as possible. Until then, feel free to download a free, fully functional demo which is not valid for navigation.

At Penguin Air, The Home of the Pilot's P.A.L. Electronic Airport and Navigation Database, we are working to create searchable airport, navigation, and aviation database which is intended to replace your Airport Facility Directory (AFD), Federal Aviation Regulations, Aeronautical Information Manual (FAR/AIM), terminal procedure approach plates, SIDs, STARs, and other flight reference materials by gathering all of their data into a single, easy to use, up-to-date source.

We are currently offering an Airport Facility Directory in an electronic format. Our goal is to continue to add features and information to create a complete, cost effective, VFR and IFR flight planning utility.
